HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani also sent a cable of congratulations to Mongolian Prime Minister Khurelsukh Ukhnaa on the occasion.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, on the occasion of his party’s victory in the parliamentary elections.


Education ministry offers services on its website
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education said yesterday that it will continue to provide its services electronically through its website for the benefit of students and parents. 
The services section allows the public to obtain all of the ministry’s services electronically, without the need to visit the ministry or its offices. 
The ministry offers a number of services electronically, such as issuing certificates, student registration, student transfer, equivalency of school certificates, registration in evening centres for adult education, text books fees payment, transportation fees payments, among many others. 
The ministry said it will ratify school certificates electronically starting August. The public can access those services by visiting https://eduservices.edu.gov.qa.

Barzan Girls Centrehosts various events to empower young women

As part of the efforts of the “Barzan Girls Centre” - an affiliate of the Ministry of Culture and Sports - to attract talented women, in addition to investing their free time, a summer programme has been prepared remotely which includes various useful workshops.

From this standpoint, the educational trainer Salah al-Yafeai presented a skills-learning workshop, in which he touched on many theories that talk about skills in humans, and how people should know the skills they love and desire to learn, and thus realise their capabilities.
Al-Yafeai gave real life examples in learning specific skills, such as climbing, building huts among others which can be obtained. 
He said that a person can learn a skill in 20 days, pointing out that learning begins with an internal desire and insistence, and then scrutiny in learning, experience and continuous practice to achieve mastery.
