Qatar was the top Arab country from 2015-2019, and the safest worldwide in 2017 and 2019.
The country’s position reflects its strong record in the field of security.
Qatar registered the lowest crime rate in the index, with 11.9 points from 100.
As for safety and security, Qatar was also top with 88.1 points from 100.
Numbeo’s database was first published in 2009.
Its crime index is based on the number law violations that take place in each country.
Its database is one of the most prominent in the world in the field.
