Qatar has donated seven artificial respirators and four modern electrocardiogram devices worth $250,000 to the Government of Costa Rica to strengthen its medical sector in confronting the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
The medical devices were delivered by the Qatari embassy in San Jose. Costa Rican Minister of Foreign Affairs Rodolfo Solano Quiros thanked Qatar during a telephone conversation with Qatari ambassador Dr Khamis bin Rashid al-Kaabi. During the call, the minister praised Qatar's quick and supportive response to his country's request to help in facing the health crisis it is experiencing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
