In celebration of the National Language Month this August, Sentro Rizal Doha and Centre Rizal of the National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) is featuring ‘Our Story: E-Storytelling of the Indigenous and Original Legend of the Philippines’, the Philippine embassy in Doha has announced.
‘Our Story’, a literature re-narrated by National Art Disciple for Literature Virgilio S Almario, will be featured every Saturday, 6pm (Philippine time), on Centre Rizal – NCCA YouTube Channel this month. According to the embassy, a story from the Philippine indigenous and original legends will be revealed in each chapter, presented by various translators and illustrators. The embassy, on its Facebook page, urged Filipino expatriates in the country “and our young people, to enjoy and distribute the rich literature of our nation to be found here in E-Storytelling”.
