The competent authorities Friday arrested six people who violated the legal requirements of home quarantine.
The arrests came in implementation of the precautionary measures in force in the country, approved by health authorities to ensure public safety and to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The six persons being referred to prosecution are: Abdulaziz Hassan Abdullah Jamal al-Darwish, Abdullah Abdul Salam Mohamed Khalil Abdullah, Shagahan Rahman, Khalifa Hamad Abdullah al-Abdullah al-Subaie, Saoud Hamad Abdullah Mohamed al-Ahwal and Nasser Mubarak Saeed al-Awami al-Marri.
The authorities concerned in the state call on citizens and residents who are subject to quarantine to fully adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health, to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
