HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah has visited a Qatar Armed Forces' unit receiving training in the US State of West Virginia.
These personnel are in the United States within the framework of military co-operation between the two friendly countries, which has witnessed clear progress in recent years, in an effort to ensure international peace and security and to combat terrorism.
HE al-Attiayh was accompanied during the visit by Qatar's ambassador to the US Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad al-Thani and Qatari Military Attache to the US Staff Brig. Gen. Nawaf bin Mubarak al-Thani.
