The Organising Committee of the Education Excellence Award announced the opening of the nomination period for the award in its 14th session of 2021, starting from tomorrow (Thursday), provided that receiving applications for candidacy will continue until October 29, QNA reported.
The committee said that the submission can be done electronically via the ministry’s website coinciding with the date of receiving the applications, noting that all evidence and forms for the award have been updated in its 14th session, and that the following link: https://www.edu.gov.qa/ar/ScientificAchievement/Pages/DirectoriesForms.aspx, explains the nature of these updates. The award includes nine categories: the academic excellence award for elementary school students, the scientific excellence award for middle school students, the scientific excellence award for those with high school diplomas, the scientific excellence award for university graduates, the scientific excellence award for master’s degree holders, and the scientific excellence award for holders of a doctoral degree and the distinguished teacher award, the distinguished school award and the distinguished scientific research award.
The objectives of the award are to appreciate, honour and celebrate the scientifically distinguished people of Qatar, deepen the concepts of excellence, encourage all individuals and educational institutions to develop their performance, promote positive trends towards knowledge and scientific research, spread the spirit of innovation among students, researchers and educational institutions in the field of scientific excellence, among others.
