Martyrs and wounded in Israeli bombardment of school sheltering displaced in Khan Younis

Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured Monday after the Israeli occupation targeted a school sheltering displaced in Khan Younis City, southern Gaza Strip.Local sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that several Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured after the Israeli occupation artillery shelled Al-Mawasi School, west of Khan Younis. The school sheltered displaced people from several areas in the Gaza Strip.The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PCRS) said its crews were unable to reach the dead bodies due to the Israeli artillery bombardment, adding that occupation forces prevented ambulance vehicles from reaching the site of the bombing.The Israeli occupation warplanes have been waging intense and fierce airstrikes on hospitals and shelter centers housing displaced people west of Khan Yunis since dawn Monday.The Israeli tanks and military vehicles also cordoned off Al-Nasser Medical complex and Al-Amal Hospital, where at least 20 civilians were martyred following the ongoing Israeli artillery bombardment.Earlier today, the occupation warplanes heavily shelled the vicinity of Al-Aqsa University, west of Khan Yunis, despite the presence of several of displaced people there.In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7 has resulted in at least 25,105 martyrs and 62,681 wounded, mostly children and women, while thousands others remain missing.
