The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's (MME) General Cleanliness Department has intensified its cleaning and sanitisation efforts to clean and sweep the Eid prayer yards across the country in preparation for the rain-seeking prayers to be performed Thursday at 6am. Specialised field teams with the latest equipment and machinery have been undertaking the task. Al Shamal Municipality in particular has carried out the cleaning campaign in co-operation with the department to clean and sanitise all the prayer yards within its jurisdiction in preparation for the prayer.
