Mansur Ajran al-Buainain, director of Al Wakra Municipality, has honoured a number of Qataris and expatriates from among those who have deployed alternative energy solutions in their homes. The initiative is part of the civic body's keenness to stress the importance of environmental sustainability among the members of the society and an important step towards transformation into a sustainability community in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
