The bodies of a mother and child who died in an accident in Qatar last month will be flown home on Saturday, community sources told 'Gulf Times'. Civita Pereira Dhaujekar (33) and her girl child Christi Abigail Dhaujekar (8 months old) met with an accident at Wukair on October 4 while her husband Myron Dhaujekar (35) and son, Malachi Avner Dhaujekar (6) escaped with injuries.
Civita’s parents Anthony and Kitty Pereira, based in the UK, are in Qatar to complete the formalities to take the mortal remains to Goa. Civita died on October 11 while baby Christi died on October 22. The bodies will be flown to Goa today and the funeral will be held tomorrow at Calangute, Goa.
Anthony Pereira was in Qatar for 36 years and an ex-employee of Ooredoo. In 2017, the parents moved to the UK.
The parents and family have extended their sincere gratitude for supporting them in times of their profound grief as well as helping in repatriating the bodies to India.
