The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has launched a three-month training programme for new recruits of the National Service Academy of the Ministry of Defence. 
The aim is to impart training on how to operate and manage water stations in the institution. Lectures were delivered by engineers Abdul Hadi al-Marri and Mohamed al-Hammadi from the Water Operations and Control at Kahramaa's Water Network Affairs and by engineer Mohamed al-Sharshani from the Department of Conservation and Energy Efficiency.
Earlier, Kahramaa signed an agreement of co-operation with the National Service Academy for training of recruits and enhancing co-operation in the common and specific areas to benefit both parties.
