The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's Agriculture Quarantine Offices that pertain to the Agriculture Affairs Department examined 5,252 various agriculture consignments weighing 154,459 tonnes during November.



A variety of the imported products were screened at customs points throughout the country. From these, 18 consignments weighing 24.26 tonnes were destroyed for being infected with various bugs. Besides, 12 other consignment weighing 7.5 tonnes of exported agriculture products were examined as well, in addition to a number of plant health certificates issued for the exported or re-exported consignments from Qatar.
