Buildings of all types, including residences, residential buildings, and complexes formed the chunk of the weekly property sales market, generating up to QR171.3mn or 57.5% of the total sales volume, according to Ezdan Real Estate report.
Similarly, land lots generated up to QR126.5mn or 42.5% of the total sales, said the report, which is sponsored by Sak Partnerships Company.
Based on data from the Real Estate Bulletin released by the Real Estate Registration Department from November 22-26, 2020, registered property sales generated a total value of QR297.8mn distributed among the municipalities of Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, and Al Wakrah.
The deals clinched included the sales of vacant lands, residences, multi-use buildings, multi-use land lots, and residential buildings, the report said.
Al Daayen municipality acquired the highest deal in terms of value by selling a multi-use land lot in Umm Qarn area, generating an aggregate value of QR23mn. The land lot spans over an area of 1,936sq m and was sold at QR1,104 per square foot.
Ezdan Real Estate Company runs more than 22,800 residential units and around 790 commercial units inside Doha and its environs, including Al Wakrah and Al Wukair.
