The Ministry of Public Health announced on Thursday that it has been decided to raise the maximum number of people allowed to attend weddings to 120 in open air places, and 80 in closed spaces.
This decision was taken on the basis of public health indicators in Qatar.
The ministry stressed, on its official website, the need to adhere to all preventive measures, including wearing masks, maintaining a safe distance, and activating Ehteraz application.
The decisions to lift more restrictions depend on the extent to which the residents adhere to the precautionary measures, the statement said.
