The Commander of the Amiri Guard, Major General Hazza bin Khalil al-Shahwani, inaugurated the Amiri Guard camp in Lusail, in conjunction with the National Day celebrations. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commander of the Amiri Guard, the Inspector General, assistants to the Commander of the Amiri Guard, a number of senior officers, as well as the Vice President of Private Engineering Office Mohamed Mutlaq al-Qahtani, and a number of senior engineers at the Private Engineering Office. After the inauguration ceremony, the Commander of the Amiri Guard toured the camp, where he was briefed on the training fields, the operations centre, the lecture halls, the departments, the barracks, and other facilities and services in the camp. During the tour, he was also briefed by the Inspector General of the Amiri Guard Brigadier General Mishaal Mohamed al-Attiyah, about the advanced facilities and equipment in the camps buildings, and the modern security and technologies and systems that contribute to improving the performance of the Amiri Guard. The inauguration of Lusail camp is part of the continuous development efforts that the Amiri Guard is witnessing, and this in line with the renaissance the country is witnessing, under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
