With the Covid-19 vaccination drive progressing in Qatar, the Ministry of Public Health has announced that it is working with pharmaceutical companies to ensure the next shipment of the vaccines arrives as early as possible in 2021 and everyone who needs to be vaccinated will be able to do so throughout the year.
In the ongoing first phase, which started on December 23, 2020, priority groups of people, including those aged 70 and above, people with chronic diseases, and frontline personnel from various sectors are getting vaccinated. Several prominent citizens and dignitaries have already received the vaccine. The current phase of vaccination will run until January 31.
