The Mall of Qatar management has handed a new batch of cars to the winners of the “Pick & Choose” shopping festival, including the first grand prize car.
Shoppers still have the opportunity to win one of the last two cars this week, as the “Pick & Choose” festival will conclude on January 14, with the final raffle draw on the last two cars.
Eighteen raffle draws have taken place so far, announcing lucky winners who drove home with 18 cars.
A number of winners in the month of December received their cars, including Marlon Quines who won a BME X2, Khalid al-Emadi, who won a Mini Cooper, and Dr Abubaker Alaib, who won the first grand prize – a BMW 840i Gran Coupe M Sport – on the Mall of Qatar anniversary.
Mall of Qatar general manager Emile Sarkis congratulated the winners, saying: “Mall of Qatar is pleased to continue handing the winners of the ‘Pick & Choose’ festival their luxurious cars.
“We congratulate all the winners in the weekly draws and the grand prize as well.
“The chance is still there to win the last two cars in the concluding raffle draw on January 14.
“This is a good beginning of the new year, and we will stay committed to introducing new initiatives that add tremendous value to our community.”
Giving more customers a chance to win, Mall of Qatar has added 10 weekly prizes that allow participants to win a Mall of Qatar gift card worth QR5,000, QR3,000, and QR1,000.
The draw for those prizes will take place every week immediately after the car draw.
The winners thanked Mall of Qatar for such initiatives.
Dr Alaib, the winner of a BMW 840i Gran Coupe M Sport and a regular customer of Mall of Qatar, said: “It was my little children’s choice, and indeed a good one.
“They picked this car and the date of the draw.
“Thank God, I won this amazing car only using one coupon.
“Special thanks and gratitude to Mall of Qatar for this great festival.
“It was a big surprise for my family and me.”
Quines, the winner of a BMW X2 20i, said: “It was such a nice surprise, which will change my plans.
“This is the first time I have won a prize in my life, and it is indeed a very precious one.
“I want to extend special thanks and appreciation to Mall of Qatar for organising such an outstanding shopping festival.
“It will, of course, stay our mall of choice and our favourite destination.”
The current “Pick & Choose” festival is the “biggest shop and win festival in Qatar”, allowing customers to win 20 cars during the festival months, Mall of Qatar has said in a statement.
It offers customers more flexible options to choose their favourite car and the date of the weekly draw until the end of the campaign on January 14.
The weekly raffle draw occurs on the Oasis stage.
The first grand prize u2013 a BMW 840i Gran Coupe M Sport u2013 was won by Dr Abubaker Alaib.
