The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Monitoring and Environmental Laboratory Department, participated in a meeting on the application of the GCC environmental portal.
The meeting, which was held via videoconference, discussed a number of topics related to the portal.
Those topics included the quality of air, maps, achievements in the environmental fields, the agreement on maintaining wildlife.
Qatar has concluded all the requirements of the portal's phase two, which will be launched soon. The department also held a meeting with a consultancy firm on the use cases of drones in monitoring and surveying the marine environment and shores of Qatar.
