Riyasat, located at The St Regis Doha, invites guests to “light up their taste buds with the richness of Indian flavours in a lavishing and sophisticated ambiance with a modern twist”.
The menu, specially curated by MasterChef India judge Surjan Singh Jolly, fondly known as chef Jolly, allows guests to experience culinary traditions practised by royal Indian families.
“Inspired by the majestic Indian estates, Riyasat captivates the glamorous era of the 19th century, with fascinating royal interiors designed to perfection, while adding a blend of deco motifs characterised by rich colours and decadent detail work. The space creates a global, youthful and edgy space allowing guests to dine like a true Indian royal,” according to a press statement issued by Alfardan Hospitality.
Chef Jolly is a prominent figure on the global culinary scene, most notably as an Indian celebrity chef who has been chef judge for MasterChef India.
Chef Jolly has worked with some of the finest properties across the world and managed elite events from A-list parties to Bollywood celebrity weddings. His love to travel and passion for endless expeditions made him explore the nuances of authentic and traditional cuisines. From the nobility and royal court kitchens to humble street food of popular cities in India, for chef Jolly it is all about
combining simple yet refined Indian flavours from the culinary legacy.
“With a wide array of speciality dishes, innovated and designed by chef Jolly, every bite, every moment, every flavour is a joyful celebration of luxurious dining, and is a burst of the finest Indian flavours.
