Online purchases should be highly encouraged in the light of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, suggested Saleh bin Majid al-Khulaifi, acting undersecretary for Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).
"Inspections will be intensified to ensure eateries and cafes are complying with the guidelines," he told a press conference on Qatar TV on Wednesday while explaining that the Qatar Clean Programme is meant to upgrade the services of the hospitality industry.
MoCI inspectors will closely monitor the commitment of service providers, shopping malls and other outlets in adhering to the precautionary and preventive measures against Covid-19, the official added.Last updated: February 04 2021 12:16 AM
