The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial closure for eight months from tomorrow (Saturday, Feb 6) at Museum of Islamic Art Intersection, in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. This is to facilitate the implementation of infrastructure development works as part of the Doha Central Development and Beautification Projects-Package 2. During the closure, the exit from Jabr bin Mohamed Street to Corniche Street will be closed. Road users can turn left onto Abdullah bin Jassim Street then right at intersection known as Grand Hamad Street Intersection to reach Corniche Street. The exit leading from Corniche Street to Jabr bin Mohamed Street will also be modified.
Ashghal will install sufficient road signage to alert road users about the closure. In order to ensure safety of all, commuters need to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs.
