Contenders strut around the ring by the waterfront on Day 2 of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival — Title Show on Thursday. As many as 92 horses participated across seven qualifying classes. The show, with a total prize money of QR 13mn, is being held by Katara under the patronage of His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. The Title Show concludes on Saturday.
Besides the Title Show, equine enthusiasts and visitors can look forward to various fun and activities at the event. The festival is attracting equine and art enthusiasts in addition to families looking for entertainment. Several equine-related exhibitions and kiosks are being featured as part of the festival. A number of dignitaries also graced the festival, including the ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions from Hungary, Austria, Poland, Italy, Ukraine and Romania, Katara said in a statement.
