Qatar Charity (QC) has received in-kind donations from the Qatar Football Association (QFA) for the benefit of workers.

The in-kind donations, which come as part of QFA’s social responsibility, included sports equipment and clothes of various sizes.

Besides, Qatar Charity recently distributed winter bags to workers.

Ali al-Salat al-Salat, head of Media at QFA, appreciated QC’s efforts in implementing humanitarian and charitable projects within Qatar and worldwide. He said QFA made the in-kind donations, believing that the investment of such resources is essential and positive.

Al-Salat added that these donations contribute to supporting Qatar Charity for the benefit of workers and low-income families, noting QFA’s previous contribution to QC’s humanitarian efforts. He also affirmed QFA’s keenness to participate in community activities with relevant bodies, including Qatar Charity, to bring about a positive change in society.

"Qatar Charity looks forward to collaborating and co-operating with all, both organisations and individuals within the country, to contribute to achieving the noble humanitarian goals. This donation embodies the solid and continuous partnership between Qatar Charity and QFA for community service," QC said in a statement.

Qatar Charity receives in-kind donations, including clothes, shoes, toys, furniture and electronic appliances, from individuals and institutions to benefit workers and families with low income. QC distributed winter bags to workers to contributing to meeting their basic winter needs. The bags, which come as part of Qatar Charity’s 'Warmth and Peace' campaign, included clothes, jackets, shoes and other winter items. It is expected that Qatar Charity will distribute winter bags in other areas of the country during this winter.
