Rajagiri Public School (RPS), a premium school in Doha with Qatar National School Accreditation, has obtained affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), India, for its senior secondary stage.
This is a further achievement for RPS which is now all set to take student admissions for Grade 11, it was explained in a statement. For the 2021/22 academic year, RPS will offer Science and Commerce streams.
The Science stream will have the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics and Informatics Practices and the Commerce stream will have the subjects English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Entrepreneurship/Mathematics and Informatics Practices. Physical Education will be offered as a 6th subject for both the streams.
RPS has plans to offer Humanities in the coming years. In order to facilitate high quality education for the senior secondary section, the facilities of the school have been enhanced with three separate state-of-the-art laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and a well-equipped Computer lab.
In addition to this, technology blended class rooms are set for the higher secondary classes. "The RPS team of highly qualified and experienced teaching professionals is now all set to deliver its curricula effectively for the senior secondary years," the statement added.
