The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported on Tuesday 479 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) during the last 24 hours, of which 430 were from community and 49 from travellers returning from abroad who are subject to quarantine.
The MoPH also recorded 345 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 158,853.
The ministry reported one new death of patient, aged 55, who was receiving the necessary medical care.
