The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the suspension of work at the newborn registration office in Al Wakra Hospital as the hospital has been designated as a Covid-19 facility.
Those whose birth certificate applications at the office have already been completed may go to the newborn registration office in the Women's Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) to receive them on April 6 during the official working hours, the ministry said in a notice on social media Sunday.
Work continues at the newborn registration offices in WWRC, Sidra Medicine and Al-Ahli Hospital. The work timings at these centres are from 7.30am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
Also, work continues in the morning hours only at the newborn registration offices in Al Khor Hospital, Al Emadi Hospital and Doha Clinic Hospital.
The MoPH has urged applicants to complete the procedures for registering birth certificates electronically through this link on its website and request to collect the documents through Qatar Post.
