Strong winds are once again expected in most areas of the country Monday, the Qatar Met department has said. Windy conditions have been forecast in offshore areas, too, along with high seas. Northwesterly winds will blow at 12-22 knots inshore, gusting to 33 knots during the daytime and decreasing to 5-15 knots by night.
Offshore, the speed of northwesterly winds will be 18-25 knots, going up to 36 knots in some places at times.
The detailed forecast says moderate temperature is expected Monday along with slight to blowing dust during the daytime, while it will be relatively cold by night. Slightly dusty conditions are likely in offshore areas occasionally, and the sea level may rise to 12ft.
