Noor Hassan Saleh is looking to enhance her business and HR skills by enrolling in the International Executive MBA (EMBA) at HEC Paris in Qatar, which has been delivering impact and excellence in the country for over a decade.
Noor Hassan Saleh, currently employed as senior manager, National Talent Development at Qatar Airways, joined in the 11th cohort of the International Executive MBA programme at HEC Paris in Qatar, which kicked off in April. A product of Georgetown University and Harvard University, Noor worked previously with Qatargas for seven years, where she specialised in performance management and competency development.
Commenting on her decision to pursue her studies at HEC Paris in Qatar, Noor said, “I believe executive education is an essential tool for global leaders and businesses to nurture their talent. I believe that HEC Paris’ International EMBA programme will equip me with the necessary skills to become a well-rounded HR executive.”
Noor adds that she chose HEC Paris for her endeavours because it is one of the top business schools in the world, with an excellent reputation. “The institution’s blended approach, which combines theory with practice, will help me fulfill my potential and develop as a business leader,” she said.
According to Noor, HEC Paris will give her the right exposure and provide her with an opportunity to interact with fellow students, professors, business advisers and professionals. And it will further allow her to expand her business management capabilities and networks.
Noor further said, “HEC Paris has also designed its EMBA in a way that allows participants a lot of flexibility. I can balance my studies with my work without much of a problem by enrolling in this programme.”
Regarding whether this is the right time to start the programme considering that the world is still in the midst of a pandemic, Noor says: “I think now, more than ever, we need to embrace an innovative mindset because an innovative mindset searches for opportunities when faced with challenges.”
She adds, “The International Executive MBA will enable me to develop my core competencies. More importantly, the programme will train me to adapt to the changing market situation.”
