St Regis Doha has announced that members of its staff have received the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination in order to maintain their health and safety.
"This aspect has always been a fundamental priority of the hotel management that has relentlessly worked to provide vaccination to all employees on a daily basis for the past two months," the hotel said in a statement, adding that St Regis Doha guests are invited to "enjoy exquisite staycations with peace of mind in a safe environment".
St Regis Doha general manager Wissam Suleiman said: “First, I would like to start by saluting Qatar for the tremendous effort that they have put in since the outbreak of Covid-19 to ensure the safety of citizens and residents in Qatar.”
"The vaccination of the St Regis Doha team would not have happened had it not been for the support of the competent medical authorities, to whom we pay all the respect and thanks,” he said. “(Ensuring) that all our employees are vaccinated was an urgent need as we consider the safety of our employees as equivalent to the safety of our guests."
Suleiman added: “We look forward to welcoming our guests back to our healthy and Covid-free environment, as we also continue to strictly implement the government’s health and safety rules and regulations in relation to the pandemic, in addition to following a system of continuous cleanliness and sterilisation throughout the hotel.”
"Our guests are our priority as we gear up to welcome them in the finest address in Qatar,” he said. “We are keen to provide them with exquisite experiences where they can relax and unwind, and enjoy an exceptional summer staycation or simply have a dining experience that is second to none in one of our award-winning restaurants."
