The designated authorities referred 459 people to the relevant prosecution for violating the preventive and precautionary measures enforced in the country to contain the spread of Covid-19, the Ministry of Interior reported.
Among them, 410 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where these are mandatory, 29 for not maintaining safe physical distancing and nine for gathering in closed places.
Also, five persons for violating quarantine requirements and six for not installing the Ehteraz app.
The measure is in line with the Cabinet decision, Decree Law No 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of Covid-19.
