* His Highness Sheikh Hamad Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics in Gaza, has suffered significant damage due to Israeli bombing in the surrounding areas.
Following the attack by Israeli occupation forces, the Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics at Gaza Strip has suspended services. An official press statement noted that the massive shelling of the hospital's surrounding area has caused significant damage to the main building and departments.
Dr Rafat Lubbad, director general of the hospital, condemned the attack and said the constant bombing has negatively affected the hospital's ability to provide services while services were stopped due to concerns for staff and patients' safety.
Hamad Hospital in Gaza is funded by Qatar Fund for Development and it serves disabled people through its prosthetic, rehabilitation, and audiology departments.
It was on Monday, Israeli occupation forces bombed the headquarters of the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) building in the besieged Gaza Strip while bombing caused damage to and destruction of parts of Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics as a result of the continuous attacks on buildings surrounding the hospital.
