As part of its continuous collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Mall of Qatar (MoQ) hosted a blood donation campaign last week to support the strategic reserve of health blood supplies in Qatar.
After completing the registration and mandatory pre-screening at dedicated desks at MoQ, donors donated their blood in the dedicated mobile clinics at the mall’s parking. The registration and donation process were conducted with strict precautionary measures and standards ensuring the donation process was completed in a safe way.

The blood donation campaigns at MoQ aim to support the strategic blood reserve to respond to emergencies on time. It is also part of MoQ’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) and local efforts to support national entities, especially medical crews, as well as community members.
“MoQ is proud to continue its collaboration with HMC and support their blood donation campaigns. It is part of our social responsibility commitments to support the effort of the medical corporation and help them respond to our people’s needs. We thank all visitors and staff who took part in this effort and contributed to this national duty,” MoQ general manager Emile Sarkis said in a press statement.
The CSR programme is at the core of MoQ’s business model and is part of its commitment to support national efforts in various fields. The nation’s mall is a stakeholder in achieving sustainable development that positively impacts social, economic, and environmental wellbeing of Qatar and its people.
