Ezdan Holding Group is the platinum sponsor of the 7th edition of Dar Al Sharq annual conference on “Labour Care”, it was announced Wednesday.
The virtual conference on June 22 will be attended by a number of major Qatar institutions, companies, and international bodies and organisations, which have contributed to workers' welfare, and the development of a safe work environment.
"We have strived to create an annual platform for exchanging opinions and experiences between government and private agencies with international organisations to discuss labour issues in an atmosphere of transparency," Dar Al Sharq chief executive Jaber Salem al-Harami stated.
Hani Dabash, the deputy chief executive of Ezdan Holding Group, said that such conferences provide an appropriate platform for exchanging experiences and developing practices that will advance the conditions of workers.
“Such sponsorship is in alignment with the aspirations and needs of more than 150,000 customers who live in Ezdan compounds, residential and hotel units, as well as investors who rent its commercial and office place units, and to provide the necessary support to help them overcome the repercussions of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic,” he added.
Dar Al Sharq’s Conferences for Labour Care was launched in May 2014.
