The Security Committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community signed signed a joint ‘declaration of intent’ in Munich to enhance bilateral co-operation in organising major events. The ‘declaration of intent’ aims to support the capabilities and development of institutions and individuals in various fields related to the security and safety of major events, exchange information and consultations between experts, and organise joint meetings and conferences between the two parties.
The declaration of intent was signed by HE the Chairman of the Safety and Security Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Major-General Abdulaziz Abdullah al-Ansari and by the Supreme Commander of the Public Security Support Forces at the Federal Ministry of Interior, Reconstruction and Society Major General Andias Bakov.
A delegation from the Safety and Security Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is currently visiting Germany, in the context of strengthening joint co-operation in the security and police fields, and reviewing the German experience in securing major sporting events.
