BiBo, the cosmopolitan Spanish Andalusian brasserie and restaurant located at Al Gassar Resort, the St Regis Doha, is celebrating its triumph at the FACT Dining Awards 2021 by introducing "electrifying dishes buzzing with flavours and style".
From July 1, guests are able to celebrate the Best European Restaurant in town through some of the most "marvellous creations ever invented", according to a press statement from Alfardan Hospitality. Executive chef Santiago and his team’s "dynamism ensure that guests are satisfied from the moment they step into the restaurant to the moment they leave"."Ever since its launch back in early-2020, the team at Bibo Doha has been determined to look for interesting new ways to incorporate the magical Andalusian concept and experience into this dynamic and eclectic carefree space," the statement noted. The service, menu, presentation, music and other aspects of the restaurant are all elements that both 3-star Michelin chef Dani Garcia and executive chef Santiago have "focused on tremendously, turning it into the wonderful place it is today". After being named Best European Restaurant at the Fact Dining Awards, the team at Bibo Doha saw the opportunity to keep its menu looking fresh and interesting. Here are some items to look out for and order on one's next visit. For starters, the Canelones de pollo asado made of roast corn-fed chicken cannelloni with truffle cream sauce is a parade of flavours and aroma. If one is looking for plant-based options, the Tomato tartar is "beyond creative and unbelievable". It tastes like meat, but only made from tomatoes, The Berenjenas a la Andaluza, made from crispy eggplant, Mediterranean tomato and black olive sauce, citrus yoghurt and Manchego cheese, is another "excellent vegetarian choice". At Bibo, food presentation is highly crucial, the Calamares Fritos, another new addition to the menu, is "wonderfully and beautifully presented entices you to take a bite". Moving on to the main dishes, the whole grilled red snapper with piquillo pepper sauce and the whole lobster with bomba rice, seafood broth and saffron is "every seafood lover’s choice". Also on offer are the Grilled baby chicken and the juicy and tender Wagyu Ribeye steak."Dessert is the best part at Bibo. Leave with a happy satisfied stomach with the mouth-watering caramelised brioche soaked in coconut and white chocolate served with mixed berries and salted caramel ice-cream. Bibo’s signature caramel chocolate mousse wrapped in gold and the hazelnut soufflé with fresh churned vanilla ice-cream are both unmissable," the statement explained. The restaurant has also been nominated as the Middle East’s Best New Restaurant for 2021 by the World Culinary Awards.BiBo Doha is open for dinner from 6pm to midnight, Monday to Thursday, and from 7pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
