Doha Forum - Youth Edition will launch its fourth edition on Wednesday in collaboration with QatarDebate Center.The two-day event will be held at M7, Msheireb, bringing together 150 youth activists from 90 countries worldwide, including 50 local participants from Qatar.Participants will explore global issues spanning five key areas, including geopolitics, economic development, emerging technologies, security, and cultural diplomacy.The forum aims to propose innovative, actionable solutions in the realms of policy and technology to meet current challenges and future needs. It introduces systematic approaches to tackle global issues positively, creating a more inclusive and diverse world.Through this platform, QatarDebate seeks to promote a culture of mutual respect and offer a dynamic space for young individuals from varied backgrounds to engage in fruitful discussions. The initiative aims to equip participants with the skills to innovate, broaden their knowledge, and build professional and cultural networks.The two-day program of Doha Forum - Youth Edition includes two panel discussions, the first comes under the title "Palestine: Existence as Resistance" and the second "Diversity and Disruption: Leveraging Technology for Economic Development." The program also includes Skill-building Workshops, roundtable discussions on the theme "The Innovation Imperative," and partners' session on "Sustainable Education Amidst Conflict," in collaboration with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), UNESCO, and Education Above All Foundation.Participants will also enjoy cultural tours in Msheireb Museums and an exploratory trip to the Qatari desert, enriching their overall experience. At the conclusion of the Doha Forum's main event, held on 7-8 December, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed between QatarDebate Center and several international organizations to promote and activate the culture of debates. Youth participants will present their recommendations and proposals from the roundtable discussions at a dedicated QatarDebate booth, engaging attendees in enriching dialogues on the role of innovation in policymaking.The Doha Forum is held under the theme "The Innovation Imperative," reflecting the urgent need to develop innovative solutions to address the complexities of the digital age. Innovation is recognized as essential for sustainability and progress across various fields, including the economy and international relations.Doha Forum has long been established as one of the leading global events on contemporary international affairs, providing a platform for exchanging ideas and insights on pressing global issues.
