MoPH clarifies mechanism of issuing birth and death certificates during Eid Al-Adha holiday

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced the mechanism of issuing birth certificates and death certificates during Eid al-Adha holiday.

The Ministry explained, in a tweet posted on its official Twitter account, that requests for the issuance of birth certificates for newborns during Eid al-Adha holiday will be received electronically only, through the registration link on MOPH website.

The Ministry added that the birth certificates can be collected at the Newborn Registration Office of the Women's Health and Research Centre.

MoH set the dates for receiving certificates from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, or could be delivered via Qatar Post.

The Ministry pointed that death certificate issuance services will be provided at the Office of Humanitarian Services during the Eid al-Adha holiday from 8am until 12 noon. Applications for the birth and death committee will be suspended during the Eid holiday.
