The Community Police Department felicitated officials from various departments of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) for their distinguished services during the 'Camp Safely' campaign as part of the 2020-2021 winter camping season. The felicitation, according to a tweet by the MoI, came in appreciation of their efforts and distinguished programmes that were presented to camp-goers during the season.
Officials from the General Directorate of Civil Defence, General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security, General Directorate of Industrial Security and Juvenile Police Department were honoured during the function.
Dr Ibrahim Mohamed Rashid al-Semaih said the campaign comes within the administration’s plans for this purpose. He noted that the campaign was successful despite the Covid-19 circumstances. He thanked all the departments that took part in the campaign.
Representatives of the entities that were honoured expressed gratitude and appreciation for the Community Police Department and said the recognition was a motive for them to exert more efforts and spread awareness of security and safety requirements and the distinguished services provided by the MoI.
