Awareness messages in different languages are constantly announced through the public address system urging people to abide by the preventive and precautionary measures against Covid-19. Shopping carts are continuously sanitised. Since its reopening on Thursday, the market has seen a considerable turnout of customers. The market usually receives around 3,500 visitors each on Thursday and Saturday, and between 2,000 to 2,200 visitors on other days. The security guards at the entry gates have an application to calculate the number of the visitors inside the market at a time to maintain the MoPH directives with regard to the Covid-19 protocol.
