MESIS marks World Literacy Day

The theme was 'Literacy for a human centered recovery: Narrowing the digital divide'.
On the occasion of ‘World Literacy Day’, MES Indian School (MESIS), Abu Hamour Branch, held various activities at the school, to give an insight into literacy being a human right and basis of all knowledge. The theme was 'Literacy for a human centered recovery: Narrowing the digital divide'.
Students of grade I, II and III had JAM (Just a Minute) - a short talk on the topic 'My School'.Students of grade IV and V had a story telling competition.The Covid-19 crisis has disrupted the learning of children, young people and adults at an unprecedented scale. Students of grade VI, VII and VIII had poster-making and essay writing competitions on the disruption caused to education by the pandemic.
