Amir meets EU High Representative

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met on Thursday at the Amiri Diwan Office with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Josep Borrell and his accompanying delegation. They discussed relations between Qatar and the European Union and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition, to the most prominent regional and international developments, especially in Afghanistan. Borrell expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Amir for Qatar’s role and its effective contribution to the evacuation of European nationals as well as its efforts to support the Afghan peace process.
