Qatar marks World Teachers' Day Tuesday

Under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education will hold its annual celebration of teachers' Day 2021 Tuesday, under the slogan "Messenger of Knowledge..Thank you" at the Mirqab Hall at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The celebration comes in appreciation of the efforts of teachers in Qatar and in recognition of their essential role as a pillar of the educational process.
Countries around the world celebrate World Teachers' Day on October 5 of each year, since 1994, in appreciation of teachers' role in educating future generations, drawing attention to fulfilling their rights, raising awareness of the teaching profession, and providing them with appropriate training and continuous professional development.
