His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone conversation with Kuwait's Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq bin Ali al-Ghanim. During the phone call which the Amir received yesterday, the Kuwaiti Speaker congratulated the Amir, the government and the people of Qatar on the success of the first legislative elections for the Shura Council and praised the popular participation in the voting process. He wished the elected members success and the Qatari people continued progress and prosperity.
