Qatari mountaineer Sheikha Asma al-Thani has scaled Mount Dhaulagiri, the world’s seventh highest summit at an altitude of 8,167m. She had recently scaled the eighth tallest mountain in the world, Mount Manaslu, becoming the first Arab woman to climb an 8,000er (eight-thousander) without Supplemental oxygen.
Qatar Olympic Committee Friday tweeted about the achievement and congratulated Sheikha Asmaa.
