Qatar participates in youth meeting in Jordan

The activities of the 17th Arab Capitals Youth Meeting, hosted by the Jordanian Ministry of Youth, and in co-operation with the League of Arab States, under the slogan "Health and Community Environment", concluded with the participation of 14 Arab countries including Qatar.A youth delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Sports, represented by the Youth Affairs Department, took part in the seven-day event.Qatari youth presented a number of pioneering initiatives in the fields of environment, health and community.At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants called on the League of Arab States to take into account the recommendations that centered on strengthening the role of Arab youth in supporting government agencies when environmental and health crises occur, promoting digitisation and automation projects in the health sectors in the Arab world, forming an electronic map of natural resources and wealth in our region, emphasising the importance of linking the environmental and health aspects, increasing support for environmental incubators and waste management, and establishing specialised incubators that serve youth projects. The activities included dialogue sessions and meetings with a number of institutions concerned with youth, health and environmental initiatives.
