* Msheireb Properties marks Qatar Sustainability Week with ‘Talk Green’, sustainable exhibition, and workshops
Msheireb Properties is hosting the first edition of 'Talk Green' as part of the Qatar Sustainability Week 2021, scheduled to take place between October 23 and 30 at Barahat Msheireb, Msheireb Downtown Doha. The seven-day event, in collaboration with Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC), enables organisations, institutions, and individuals to showcase their green programmes, ideas, solutions, and initiatives, as well as to foster public awareness and participation.
'Talk Green' will feature a whole week of exhibitions, green talks, and workshops that appeal to all categories and family members. Msheireb Properties will organise the new 'Talk Green' for corporates, institutions, and the youth for the first time aimed at addressing a variety of eco-related solutions and strategies on sustainability to the public in an interactive and informal style. Presentations will take place for four days from October 23 to 26 at the Barahat Msheireb Stage, beginning from 5:30pm.
The event reflects the commitment of Msheireb Properties to promote sustainability, enhance collaborations with national entities, and raise awareness on sustainable living. Many local and international companies, as well as individuals, are taking part in the talk to showcase their sustainable solutions and programmes, and to encourage other organisations to adopt sustainability in their business and motivate people to adopt green practices in their daily life.
Several local and international organisations will participate in the discussion, including Msheireb Properties, QGBC, Qatar Foundation, International Living Future Institute, Supreme Committee for Legacy and Delivery (SC), Shell, Doha Design District, Qatar Academy Msheireb, Zulal Wellness Resort, Qatar University, Greener Future, Torba, Beehive recycling, B.atna, Hungarian embassy in Qatar, Doha Debates, Kahrama, and the individual presentation by Soud Aljanahi.
On October 30, the week will concluded with a series of workshops dedicated to promoting sustainability practices, especially among youth and children. From 5:30pm, the public can participate in these workshops and learn more about how to practice real sustainability in one’s daily chores. Entities conducting the workshops are M7, SC, and Engineers Australia.
