An inter-section quiz competition, for students of grades IX to XI, was organised by the Quiz Club of MES Indian School recently. The topics were general knowledge, science and invention, literature, sports and current affairs. The team with Tahania (X-J), Afifa bint Mustafa (XI- Q) and Krishnendu Venugopal (IX- L) clinched the title. The second position was secured by Chris Simone Denny (XI-C), Ashkar Mohamed (X-C) and Milan Mathew (IX-B).
Inaugurating the contest, principal Hameeda Kadar urged the students to be inquisitive and abreast of the latest developments. Ruchika Kusuma, department of biology was the quiz mistress. The event was co-ordinated by Muraleedharan Nair and Anu K S, who are in charge of the school quiz team.
