Vodafone Qatar has announced the launch of its latest ‘Together We Can’ campaign, following its rebrand earlier this year.
Launching Monday, the integrated campaign demonstrates how the partnership between technology and the human spirit can turn challenges into achievements, and focuses on three main pillars: sustainability, sports and innovation, the company said in a statement.
Through this campaign, Vodafone acknowledges the changes that the world has undergone over recent years, including those specific to Qatar, and their impact on how people live and work. ‘Together We Can’ celebrates how, despite the challenges, technology and human spirit have allowed businesses and societies to move forward, adapt, learn new skills and adopt new ways of communicating, learning and operating, the statement explains.
Unveiled in April, ‘Together We Can’ places the emphasis on ‘we’, showcases Vodafone’s integral role in working towards Qatar National Vision 2030 and exemplifies its belief that the partnership between technology and society can build a better future for everyone. With this in mind, Vodafone has invested more than QR1bn in its advanced GigaNet network and led the rollout of its extensive 5G and fibre networks in Qatar.
For enterprises, connectivity has been extended with a portfolio of managed services and smart solutions, including the Internet of Things (IoT), which has been powering a host of IoT solutions for smart cities and specific industries, such as transport and manufacturing.
Carlos Diego Camberos Mariaca, chief operating officer at Vodafone Qatar, said: “Our purpose at Vodafone is to facilitate and promote the digital transformation of our lives and businesses via our robust GigaNet network and broad range of solutions and services. In a world that is constantly evolving, the people of Qatar have shown resilience and adaptability to be the key ingredients of success over the past year. Together with our cutting-edge technology, we can leverage this success and embrace sustainable living, leaving a legacy for generations to come.”
In the spirit of ‘Together We Can’, Vodafone is celebrating its recent achievements and renewing its focus on three particular areas:
* Sustainability: Vodafone believes in the importance of preserving the planet for future generations, and its green initiatives and partnerships provide the technologies to enable the development of innovative solutions that will reshape the future. Over the past year, Vodafone has powered a range of green solutions including the Msheireb Smart City project via its high speed 5G coverage. Vodafone’s IoT SIMs are at the centre of the nationwide Kahramaa Smart Meter rollout, the vast network of zero-emission Loop Mobility scooters, and the AirLift smart delivery vehicles at Qatar Foundation.
* Sports: Vodafone is at the forefront of sports innovation and technology, creating a healthier society, as well as enhancing the sports industry and the way consumers partake in and experience sports. Vodafone sponsors many events throughout the sporting calendar, including the Padel In Tournament and Qatar Olympic Committee events, where its connectivity allows for live-streaming and a range of other services.
* Innovation: Entrepreneurs and SMEs are the backbone of Qatar’s economy and Qatari society. Vodafone offers a range of support for SMEs, including through dedicated mentorship and training programmes such as Sanad, or by offering state-of-the-art IoT technologies that revolutionise the way they do business. Over the past year, Vodafone has tailored its product offering to help businesses achieve their digital transformation ambitions, including its Push-to-Talk Plus, IoT Fleet Management, SDN and Business Broadband with Microsoft 365 solutions.
