His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Monday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on the sidelines of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP 26) at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow. The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral relations and means of enhancing, besides discussing the regional and international developments. In this context, the Ukrainian president expressed his thanks to the Amir for Qatar's effective contribution to the evacuation of civilians, and its unremitting efforts in the Afghan peace process. The meeting was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying the Amir and a number of Ukrainian ministers.
